The course would investigate the intersection of the growth of significant structure, work, canonical art, and kingship during egypt’s formative centuries from C. 3200-2600 BC. We can examine the rapid changes in the beginning of the First Dynasty in the context of government activity over the longer duration of late-Predynastic to Old country Egypt.
